The mission of the company is to push creative imagination
into the realm of future technology.

  •   Finally a Northwest Passage. After searching for a northwest passage for cargo ships for hundreds of years Novan R&D has come up with a safe practical way for transporting cargo across the top of the world directly from Europe to the far east.

  •   A radical new High Speed Train System.   An overhead lightweight maglev train capable of speeds over 200 MPH. Its center of gravity is below its track so that it is very stable on curves regardless of its speed or the weather. Its uses existing right of ways to keep capital construction costs low.

  •   A method for constructing buildings in the ocean using a new type of foundation. There is a lot of unused real estate just waiting to be developed out there.

  •   Building bridges across deep water between:  Africa and Europe, Italy and Sicily, England and France, or wherever needed. A radical new foundation system makes these spans across deep water possible.

  •   Building a practical, space ship that will take its passengers to the moon or Mars (although I don't know why anyone would want to go to that desolate freezing planet.) It would be more like a cruise ship then the present austere spaceships. The passengers would have comfortable quarters and use a "gravity" system that would make it possible to maintain their bone and muscle mass on these long voyages.

  •   A new method of launching a rocket from the ocean or land that could save fuel and carry heavier freight payloads,(not suitable for passengers).

  •  Thermionic energy conversion has the potential to satisfy many power needs through static conversion of thermal energy. Larger, more powerful models need to be built to explore the full potential of this concept.

  •   A new concept for safe storage of LNG (liquified natural gas) deep under water.

  •   An "Atmospheric Electrolysis System". (Basic research needed) This sytem would explore the possibility of harnessing the natural electrical "voltage potential" of the planet to generate ample electrical power that could produce hydrogen and oxygen by electrolysis.

Novan Research & Development Co. creates radical new original concepts with a strong market potential to sell or license to companies who will be able to take advantage of their originality and develop them into a commercial success.

We are looking for companies with highly motivated, honest and above all imaginative management teams partnering with venture capitalists who will be able to bring these ideas into reality. We will work with your company as a research consultant, with the goal of making these new concepts into a commercial success.
